Hours: Monday to Friday

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing client based in Cornwall who is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join their team. The Role

The successful Senior Quality Engineer will support the day-to-day quality engineering function, ensuring that products, processes, and systems meet the highest standards. You will lead continuous improvement activities, drive root cause analysis, and work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance operational performance and promote a culture of quality throughout the business.


Key Responsibilities

* Lead and support daily quality engineering activities on-site
* Drive problem-solving initiatives, including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions
* Ensure compliance with quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory frameworks
* Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and process improvement projects
* Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members
* Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain to improve product quality and consistency


What We’re Looking For

* Proven experience as a Quality Engineer or Senior Quality Engineer within a manufacturing environment
* Strong knowledge of quality systems and methodologies (e.g., 8D, FMEA, CAPA, ISO standards)
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong communicator with the ability to influence across all levels of the business
* Detail-oriented with a proactive, hands-on approach
