Are you positive and do you have lots of energy? Are you passionate about working with children and want to work as part of a team to ensure that all children achieve their potential in a happy and safe environment?
The candidate will be prepared to work across the school, and able to work with groups or individual children undertaking intervention programmes. The role will include supervision and mentoring of children at lunchtimes. Experience of working with children with additional needs will be an advantage.
You will need to have broad experience of working with similar pupils in a mainstream setting and have the compassion to support and nurture all children.
The post 8:30 am – 3.30pm, term time only. We are willing to consider either full-time candidates working 5 days a week, or part-time candidates.
The salary will be dependent on the number of days worked. For reference, if working 5 days a week, the actual salary Teaching Assistant would be £17,289 per year.

We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest and sensitivity to children's individual needs; you will have a positive impact on the classes you work with and the school as a whole. All candidates will have a high standard of spoken and written English and Mathematics. You will need to be good and effective communicators with children and adults, friendly and approachable and able to work on your own initiative.
