 
        
        Are you a commercially savvy relationship-builder with a passion for driving results?Tarmac is looking for a Cash Sales Manager to join our Aggregates & Asphalt Commercial team in Colchester, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our cash sales strategy and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
In addition to your strategic and commercial responsibilities, you’ll also have line management responsibility for one direct report – the Cash Sales Coordinator – supporting their development and ensuring alignment with business goals.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Implementing and executing the cash sales strategy across the region
Collaborating with marketing to boost brand awareness and promote our product offering
Working cross-functionally to identify and capture cross-sale opportunities
Delivering monthly and annual financial targets, including Value Added Product (VAP) goals
Building and nurturing strong client relationships while identifying new business opportunities
Supporting senior management in improving OTIFIC (On Time In Full Invoiced Correctly) performance
Leading and developing the Cash Sales Coordinator to ensure operational excellence
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in managing and developing customer accounts
Strong commercial acumen and understanding of the competitive landscape
Excellent influencing, negotiation, and change management skills
Ability to work cross-functionally and deliver customer-focused solutions
High drive and determination to meet and exceed targets
Knowledge of regional market dynamics and product mix forecasting
Experience in people management or a willingness to develop leadership skillsFormal qualifications aren’t essential, but a track record of adding value and delivering results is.
