Electronics Engineer - R&D
Location: Margate
Are you a hands-on Electronics Engineer with a passion for innovation and problem-solving? Join our dynamic R&D team and play a key role in developing and testing next-generation products that make a real impact.
What You'll Do:
Design and prototype circuits, breadboards, and assemblies based on project needs
Create detailed design and manufacturing drawings
Develop test jigs, fixtures, and equipment for product validation
Design PCB layouts using Altium software
Support manufacturing by resolving material and process issues
Test products to international standards and produce clear documentation
Collaborate across teams and contribute to exciting new product developmentWhat You'll Need:
BSc or HND in Electronics Engineering (or equivalent)
3+ years of hands-on engineering lab experience
Proficient in Altium CAD and schematic/PCB design
Familiarity with SMT soldering (down to 0201), signal generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum/logic analysers
Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills
Clear communication and reporting skills
Bonus: Experience in avionics or marine electronics, and/or a project management certificationWho You Are:
