Responsibilities
* Develop and implement category plans to meet sales, margin, and profit targets.
* Grow own brand business and source products to increase sales and margins.
* Negotiate annually with suppliers for favorable terms.
* Respond to customer feedback, shape category plans, and handle queries professionally.
* Communicate category objectives effectively.
* Ensure product displays reflect good, better, best principles.
* Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities and improve processes.
* Lead the category team, manage performance, and support succession planning.
* Adhere to the Business Code of Conduct, promote diversity and inclusion.
Requirements
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work independently, solve problems, and make commercial decisions.
* Attention to detail, report writing, data interpretation, and record-keeping skills.
* Knowledge of relevant markets and developments.
* Flexible work approach.
Experience
* Extensive experience in FMG and buying teams.
* Proven ability to work autonomously.
* Experience in developing and managing marketing campaigns.
