Education/Qualifications
Essential criteria
* Registered Professional on NMC/HCPC Register
* First Degree or equivalent in healthcare related
* Specialist Community Public Health Nursing Qualification
* Master's degree or equivalent experience and/or working towards a master's qualification.
* Leadership and management qualification /training
Desirable criteria
* PSIRF Training
* Best Interests Assessor
* Recognised teaching qualification /experience in delivering safeguarding training programmes
* Safeguarding supervision qualification
Experience
Essential criteria
* Experience working in community healthcare in clinical leadership clinical management position
* Experience of working with diverse communities
* Experience of working in a statutory safeguarding role
* Experience of working with complex adult/child safeguarding cases
* Evidence of staff and resource management experience
* Experience of change management within healthcare settings
* Experience in undertaking and presenting audits
* Experience of supporting root cause analysis investigations
* Experience of developing resources and delivering safeguarding training to Level 3 /4 • Experiencing in acting autonomously as an expert in safeguarding • Substantial experience in the development and implementation of discrete areas of practice or safeguarding policies and service development
