Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a confident, resilient, and passionate Unqualified Teacher specialising in Behaviour Management to work within supportive school settings across the Kettering area.
This role is ideal for individuals with strong behaviour management experience-whether from education, youth work, mentoring, sports coaching, residential care, or similar backgrounds-who are looking to make a real impact in the classroom.
About the Role
As an Unqualified Teacher, you will deliver pre-prepared lessons, supervise classes, and create a calm, structured environment for students who require consistent behaviour support. You will be supported by senior leaders, pastoral teams, and your dedicated consultant at Tradewind.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver and supervise pre-planned lessons across various subjects.
2. Use effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment.
3. Build strong relationships with pupils, encouraging engagement and positive choices.
4. Work collaboratively with teaching staff and support teams.
5. Uphold safeguarding and wellbeing standards at all times.
About You
6. Experience supporting young people with challenging behaviour.
7. Calm, confident, and able to remain resilient under pressure.
8. Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
9. Adaptable, proactive, and eager to develop within an education setting.
10. A genuine interest in progressing towards a teaching or pastoral career.
