Overview
Prometheus Safe & Secure provides complex care, safe transport and rapid emergency support to vulnerable people across the UK. We partner with NHS Trusts, Local Authorities and independent providers to deliver reliable, responsive and compassionate services.
We are seeking a Sales and Marketing Director to drive our commercial strategy, lead a growing team, and shape our marketing function. This is a senior leadership role with autonomy to set direction, own the sales and marketing function, build campaigns that generate leads, secure contracts and strengthen our brand as a trusted partner.
This role involves regular external engagement with customers, shaping campaigns, and representing Prometheus at events and conferences.
Responsibilities
* Lead and inspire a sales and marketing team to deliver consistent results and exceed targets
* Build strong relationships with NHS Trusts, Local Authorities and independent providers to secure new and repeat business
* Drive spot purchase sales through weekly customer engagement to ensure Prometheus is top of mind for urgent support
* Take ownership of tenders, proposals and negotiations to secure new contracts and long-term partnerships
* Develop and deliver innovative marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels to generate leads and enhance brand awareness
* Oversee the sales pipeline with timely follow-up, accurate forecasting and clear reporting to the board
* Represent Prometheus at events, conferences and networking opportunities as a visible ambassador for the business

Qualifications and Experience
* Proven senior sales and marketing leadership, ideally within healthcare, public sector commissioning, or another service-led industry
* Strong track record of driving revenue growth through both spot purchase sales and longer-term contracts
* Skilled in marketing strategy, campaign design and lead generation across digital and offline channels
* Confident communicator and negotiator able to influence stakeholders at all levels and close high-value deals
* Highly organized, proactive and commercially astute with strong financial awareness
* Experience in leading and motivating a team to deliver results and exceed expectations
* Comfortable representing the business externally at events, conferences and client meetings
* Full right to work in the UK
* Full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle
