Job Title: Teacher of Design and Technology

Pay: £170 – £260 per day
(Dependent on experience, equivalent to M1–UPS3)
Contract Type: Fixed-term, Flexible or Permanent
Hours: Part-time, FTE (26 hours per week)
Working Pattern: Four days per week

The opportunity
This is a great opportunity for a creative and motivated Design and Technology teacher to deliver engaging, high-quality lessons and inspire students through practical, skills-based learning.

About you
You will:
1. Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
2. Deliver high-quality Design and Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4
3. Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND, pupil premium, looked-after children and high-attaining students
4. Build positive, respectful relationships with students, colleagues and families
5. Communicate confidently and embrace change with a flexible mindset
6. Value enrichment opportunities that enhance learning beyond the classroom
7. Be committed to developing your own practice and supporting others
8. Meet the Teachers’ Standards consistently, with sustained impact for students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
