West Midlands | £45,000 – £50,000 + Company Vehicle | Permanent, Full-Time
A leading construction subcontractor is seeking a proactive Health & Safety Advisor to support multiple live projects across the West Midlands. This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety, where you’ll play a key part in driving safety standards, supporting site teams, and helping to maintain a positive safety culture across the business.
The Role
Provide professional health & safety support across live construction projects
Carry out site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and reduce risks
Work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and management to embed a strong safety culture
Ensure compliance with UK legislation, company policies, and industry best practice
Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions to promote safe working
Support the roll-out of HSE initiatives and continuous improvement programmes
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience as a Health & Safety Advisor within the construction sector
NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent) – essential
Excellent communication and influencing skills to engage teams effectively
Proactive approach with a genuine passion for health & safety improvement
Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel between multiple sites
