Our client within the public sector is currently seeking a Transformation Manager (Children’s Services) to lead the delivery of high-quality consultancy services for transformation and change initiatives across the Children, Families and Lifelong Learning (CFLL) Directorate.
This is a hybrid role (3 days in the office, 2 days remote).
Key Responsibilities
* Lead on providing specialist operational and technical support for transformational programmes and projects.
* Evaluate existing service provision and develop innovative solutions to maximize service quality and meet customer requirements.
* Improve children's social care; transform services for children and young people with additional needs and disabilities; enable all-age learning; deliver new models for emotional wellbeing and mental health services; and health/social care integration.
Key Experience
* Degree or equivalent experience at management level, demonstrating knowledge and practical application of change management, project management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Process review tools and techniques, e.g., LEAN.
* Workshop planning, facilitation, and output.
* Project scoping, options appraisal, and business case development.
* Service and organisational redesign skills, including Target Operating Model and blueprint development.
* Benefits realisation methodologies.
* Ability to liaise with senior levels in a complex political environment to establish service requirements and priorities, and deliver tangible improvements.
* Ability to lead and coach staff and develop internal consultancy expertise.
Satisfactory DBS clearance is required for this role.
