Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior React Developer to join a high-performing data and digital engineering team on a strategic project for a leading UK bank. This role is delivered via a top-tier consultancy and involves the development of enterprise-grade web applications within a cloud-first architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain scalable web applications using React.js within a full-stack environment.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, backend developers, and business stakeholders.
* Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces.
* Integrate with RESTful APIs and cloud-based services.
* Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
* Advanced knowledge of React.js and familiarity with modern React patterns (hooks, context, etc.).
* Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.
* Experience working with .NET, C#, or similar backend frameworks (beneficial for full-stack capability).
* Knowledge of cloud services, preferably Azure.
* Familiarity with SQL Server, Azure SQL, or CosmosDB.
* Experience using Git, Azure DevOps, or GitHub for version control and CI/CD.
* Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience.
* Excellent problem-solving and debugging capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Prior experience in financial services or highly regulated environments.
* Experience working within large-scale digital transformation projects.
