HR Advisor / HR Generalist required to join a well-established, UK-based engineering business with a 300+ strong workforce spanning service, design, sales, projects, and support functions.

The Role
Reporting to the HR Director, you’ll provide hands-on, generalist HR support across multiple UK sites. This is a varied and commercial role, covering everything from employee relations and recruitment to induction, performance management, and day-to-day HR operations.
Key Responsibilities

Advise managers and staff on all aspects of HR policy and practice

Manage ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, sickness, and performance
*
Lead recruitment across multiple departments

Support and coach managers through appraisals and development
*
Coordinate inductions and help embed company values
*
Maintain HR systems, assist with payroll, and manage company vehicles
Background

Experienced HR Advisor or Generalist (or HRBP) with strong all-round capability

Skilled in handling complex ER matters fairly and confidently

Knowledgeable in UK employment law with a practical solutions approach
