An opportunity to join our dedicated team as a Trainee Assistant Physiologist performing routine diagnostic investigations has arisen within the Clinical Measurement Department.
Once qualified as an Assistant Physiologist, you will perform a range of standard diagnostic clinical measurement investigations across various departmental sections.
This post is based at the Royal Derby Hospital, with expected rotations to Queens Hospital Burton and the three Community Diagnostic Centres: Florence Nightingale Community Hospital, Ilkeston Community Hospital, and Sir Robert Peel.
We seek an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our busy team, performing diagnostic tests on patients across multiple disciplines.
You will primarily record Electrocardiographs (ECGs) on inpatients and outpatients of all ages. As your competency develops, you will acquire skills to perform and assist with other departmental tests.
This role requires undertaking the Certificate in Electrocardiography to attain competency in ECG recording and interpretation.
