Customer Service Executive – Ecommerce Business

About Us

We're a fast-growing ecommerce company in the catering equipment industry, with over 1000 products and a reputation for supplying restaurants, takeaways, and catering businesses across the UK. We're now looking for a Customer Service Executive to join our office team and ensure smooth, professional support for our clients.

The Role

As a Customer Service Executive, you'll be based full-time in our office/showroom, handling incoming calls and emails from customers. You'll resolve order and delivery queries, provide product information, and occasionally assist walk-in showroom customers when needed. This is a fast-paced role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple enquiries at once.

Key Responsibilities

* Answer inbound phone calls and customer emails promptly and professionally.
* Support B2B customers with order enquiries, delivery updates, and product information.
* Escalate complex issues to the operations or management team where necessary.
* Maintain accurate records of interactions within Shopify/CRM.
* Liaise with the listings and warehouse team to resolve order or stock queries.
* Occasionally assist walk-in showroom customers (light support only).

Requirements

* Previous experience in customer service (office, retail, or call handling).
* Excellent phone manner and clear written communication.
* Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, email; Shopify experience is a bonus but not essential).
* Organised, detail-focused, able to handle multiple queries simultaneously.
* Positive, proactive problem-solving attitude.
* Comfortable working full-time in office environment.
