Required as soon as possible, a new opportunity has arisen to join our hardworking and committed team of Support Staff at this outstanding 11-18 selective girls’ school which has an excellent academic reputation. We also provide an excellent wellbeing package for staff and immediate family.
Working hours are 19.5 hours per week, 52 working weeks per year.
The Site Assistant’s work pattern would be 3 days per week (Monday, Friday and one other day to be agreed), 8:00am to 3:00pm (with half an hour unpaid lunch each day). There will be some flexibility to cover the needs of the school and a requirement to work the school Open Day.
The Site Assistant’s primary role is to work under the direction of the Premises Manager to provide a clean and safe environment for users of the school premises and grounds. This includes preparation and upkeep of lawns and decorative areas, upkeep of sports surfaces, removal of litter, leaves and rubbish and supporting the site team around the school (e.g. porterage, setting up rooms for exams and meetings, maintenance and larger refurbishment projects during school holiday periods).
In return, we can offer 24 days' holiday per year (increasing with length of service at 5 years to 28.5 days and 10 years to 31.5 days) not inclusive of bank holidays.
