Learning Support Assistant (SEN) Paid Trial Days South East London
At Remedy, we are looking for a vibrant and passionate Teaching Assistant to work at one of our leading SEN Secondary Schools in Islington, North London. This exciting Learning Support Assistant role involves working with a Year 8 child with various SEND/SEMH needs.
The ideal candidate for this Learning Support Assistant (SEN) role would be Psychology graduates or those with relevant support work or teaching assistant experience, aspiring to pursue careers in Education, Therapy, Psychological Research, Mental Health, Speech and Language, and more. You will collaborate with a dedicated inclusion team, teachers, SLT, and have opportunities to engage with specialists regularly.
Role Details:
* Position: Learning Support Assistant (SEN)
* Contract: Full Time
* Hours: 08:30 - 15:30
* Location: Hackney, Greater London
* Rate: £100 - £120 per day
* Setting: Secondary School
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide support to pupils with SEND and/or Social Inclusion needs.
* Work alongside a supportive, friendly, and dedicated inclusion team.
* Facilitate differentiation of tasks for students.
* Work with small groups or individual students on specific tasks.
Standard Requirements:
* Previous experience as a TA or Learning Assistant with primary or secondary pupils.
* Experience working with challenging behaviour, ASD, ADD, ADHD.
* GCSEs including Maths or English.
* An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks.
