Position: Funds Lawyer
Location: Croydon, hybrid 2 to 3 days in the office
Elevate Flexible Legal Resourcing is seeking a Funds Lawyer, UK/EU-qualified associate trained within a top firm's investment funds team. The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience with excellent Investment Funds, Private Funds, and Asset Management expertise. The role is to start as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advising clients on fund formation, structuring, and operation of investment funds, including private equity, pension, hedge, and real estate funds.
* Drafting and reviewing fund documentation, assisting with regulatory compliance, supporting fund-related transactions, conducting due diligence, and preparing investment reports.
* Advising fund sponsors on operational and compliance issues, portfolio investments, and general partner/manager compensation.
Requirements:
Strong understanding of legal and regulatory aspects of fund management, excellent analytical skills, and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
