The Workforce Directorate within NHS Fife is undergoing a service transformation, and a new and exciting role of Staff Bank Manager has been created. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Staff Bank manager to join our Workforce Directorate.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape NHS Fife’s supplementary staffing workforce, this role is responsible for overseeing the operational delivery of the staff bank team, staff bank service, and all elements of the service delivery, including workforce management, supplementary staffing solutions within NHS Fife, recruitment of staff onto the bank, timesheet processing and ongoing training and education.
You will provide inspirational and motivational leadership, direction and maintain responsibility for the development and line management of workers employed through the staff bank, and all elements related to supplementary staff use across NHS Fife, including Direct Engagement for Medical Locums and Allied Health Professionals.
As a member of the Workforce Leadership Team, you will work collaboratively, build strong and effective relationships to ensure the successful operational delivery and performance of the function. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of the service, regularly reviewing performance against targets and customer feedback.
You will have significant experience in a senior role, within the NHS, or alternatively equivalent experience within a medium to large, multi-skilled, multi-union organisation. Have experience of leading and developing service users or internal teams to improve performance, creating and improving processes and scoping, managing, and delivering projects.
We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible individual who has excellent communication, interpersonal, team leading and IT skills, with the ability to analyse complex problems, work in a pressurised environment and deliver to tight deadlines. A professional clinical registrant (Nurse or Allied Health Professional) with extensive post registration experience including at band 7 level within the NHS or a non-clinical management professional with an equivalent level combination of experience and qualifications.
