The Role Scope
✨To be the first point of contact for general enquiries from staff in person, by telephone and email, escalating queries to others within the team where required
✨Supporting managers in interpreting and applying all HR policies and procedures
✨To provide HR and administrative support to investigating officers in the management of casework; specifically investigations into conduct, capability and grievance matters, absence management and the performance appraisal process
✨To support all HR administration, including but not limited to updating contracts, change in terms and conditions, change of employment status, references, L&D and the end to end recruitment process.
✨Escalating complex cases to appropriate HR colleagues
✨Management of the performance appraisal system
✨Assisting with the recruitment and induction process; promoting an effective employee onboarding experience
✨Absence Management, monitoring and flagging patterns
✨Assisting with the management of reward and recognition.
About You
✨Self-motivated, proactive, adaptable, resourceful and able to apply initiative to work independently as well as contribute to the effectiveness of the HR department ✨Demonstrate experience and exposure on advising and supporting managers on HR policies, procedures, ER issues and employment legislation ✨Strong expertise of utilising HR systems and maintaining confidential employee data ✨A calm and professional approach to sensitive people issues.
