St Andrews Medical Practice is seeking an enthusiastic, patient-centred General Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive clinical team on a 1-year fixed-term contract. The post will possibly become permanent should funding be recurring after one year. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated GP looking for flexibility within a well-established practice committed to delivering high-quality patient care. Providing high-quality, safe, and effective general medical services to patients Undertaking face-to-face, telephone, and online consultations Managing acute and chronic conditions in line with current clinical guidance Prescribing and reviewing medication appropriately Maintaining accurate and contemporaneous patient records Working collaboratively within the wider multidisciplinary team Participating in clinical meetings and practice development activities Supporting quality improvement and patient safety initiatives About us

This is a salaried GP role and we are looking to recruit for 4 to 6 sessions per week. It will initially be a fixed term contract for one year because the post is being funded by new funding and there is every intention to make this a permanent post should funding continue beyond the year. The role will involve seeing patients face-to-face, telephone consultations and e-consults. The successful applicant is likely to have a fair share of duty days and to deal with their own pathology results. Person Specification

Must be fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practice. Must be included on the NHS Performers List. Must hold MRCGP qualification or equivalent. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Be committed to delivering high standards of patient care. Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
