Job Description: IT Engineer
Join our team as an IT Engineer, providing support to our education customers with a variety of responsibilities including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line support. This role involves working at customer sites and remotely outside of these times.
You will act as an extension of our customers' teams, delivering high-quality support across Cloud technologies, Windows, Apple desktop OS, mobile devices such as iPads, and Windows Server OS.
We seek candidates who are experienced with the latest technologies, possess excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, and are confident problem solvers. Essential knowledge includes Windows OS, Mac OS, iOS, Active Directory, Office 365, Azure, Group Policy, networking concepts, and related hardware.
As partners and resellers of leading IT brands (Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Cisco, Microsoft, Google, Apple), familiarity with their technical stacks is crucial.
On-Site Tasks
* Visit schools and businesses for scheduled SLA visits.
* Attend site for emergency callouts as authorized.
* Manage your schedule to ensure responsive on-site service.
* Build trust with key contacts at your schools.
* Highlight additional services offered by iCT4.
* Conduct on-site installations as required.
Remote Tasks
* Provide remote support via phone, email, live chat, or referrals.
* Be the primary contact for your assigned customers.
* Implement configuration changes and liaise with third-party teams.
* Maintain accurate notes and updates in the helpdesk system.
* Monitor remote tools for proactive issue detection.
* Check backup systems for compliance and resolve issues.
* Patch and maintain customer infrastructure to minimize downtime.
