We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Accounts Administrator to join our fantastic client who specialises in supplying household products to retailers and online, You will be proactive, and capable of working independently, liaising with external accountants, and handling a wide range of accounting and financial tasks, including credit control, invoicing, and payments. You will report into the Managing Director and be involved in:
1. Process purchase and sales invoicing
2. Raising purchase orders to factories
3. Processing wholesale orders
4. Providing remittances for payment
5. Using Xero accounting software, ensuring all transactions are coded correctly
6. Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor payments in and out
7. Submitting the VAT from Xero reconciliation
8. Checking factory shipping invoices to ensure the cost prices paid are correct.
9. Manage credit control, including chasing overdue payments and ensuring timely settlements
10. Handle multi-currency transactions and work with currency exchange companies to pay factories
11. Checking courier bills for overcharging and courier claims
12. Handle VLOOKUPs and spreadsheets to assist with data analysis for online platforms payments
13. Checking invoices are correct with the goods loaded from factories.
