Job Description
An opportunity to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to impact patient functional improvements and achieve goals for functional independence. The Inpatient Rehab Nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients in a 35-bed unit with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 5-7:1.
Responsibilities
Administer medications, including IVs, PICC lines, PEG tube administration.
Conduct bladder scans, trach care, tube feeding, Foley catheterization, bladder irrigation, and blood administration.
Work closely with Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physiatrists, Physician Assistants, and Neuropsychologists.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Must have Med/Surg or PCU experience.
BLS Certification and Virginia Nursing License required.
Experience in rehabilitation preferred.
