We are now looking for a Nurse to join us on a part-time, permanent basis. You will work two day shifts and one on-call night shift per week during term time (34 weeks per year). The hours consist of:
Week one:
- Tuesday: 08:00 - 18:00
- Wednesday: 10:00 - 18:00
- Friday: 18:00 - 08:00 (on-call)
Week two:
- Monday: 18:00 - 08:00 (on-call)
- Wednesday: 08:00 - 18:00
- Saturday: 08:00 - 18:00

The Role
As a Nurse, youll provide high-quality, compassionate care to pupils, staff, and visitors in our state-of-the-art Medical Centre.
Working both day and on-call night shifts, youll ensure the effective running of the centre while promoting the health, wellbeing, and safety of everyone on site.
Youll carry out a range of clinical duties, from triaging and treating minor illnesses and injuries to administering medication, treatments and vaccinations and supporting the school doctors surgeries.
Liaising with parents, staff, and healthcare professionals, you will co-ordinate care, maintain accurate medical records, and ensure pupils receive appropriate support and follow-up.
Additionally, you will:
- Escort pupils to medical appointments and co-ordinate transport
- Support with first aid, hygiene, and infection control procedures
- Restock supplies and monitor the safe disposal of medical waste
- Refer pupils to counsellors or external professionals where necessary
- Provide health advice and basic first aid training to staff and pupils
About You
To be considered as a Nurse, you will need:
- To be a registered Nurse
- Up-to-date CPR and AED training
- Knowledge and understanding of current medical and public health issues
- Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
- A kind and caring manner
- A full, valid driving licence and use of a car during working hours
