CRP Group is working with a fast-growing, boutique security solutions provider based in West Yorkshire specialising in CCTV and security systems tailored for the construction industry. The company’s mission is to improve safety, efficiency, and peace of mind on job sites through innovative technology and a highly responsive service approach. They’re seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to join the team. This is more than just a sales role; it’s a chance to build your own division within a company that offers real growth, direct support from the Sales Director, and the freedom to operate with true autonomy as you develop.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of your career and carve out a leadership role. While you’ll receive hands-on guidance and mentorship early on, the long-term vision is for this role to operate independently and autonomously without micromanagement. You’ll be trusted to manage your own pipeline, build client relationships, and shape how your division grows with the backing of a capable and collaborative team.


Responsibilities

* Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction industry
* Conduct site visits with new and existing clients
* Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders and partners
* Deliver tailored proposals and persuasive presentations to win new contracts
* Stay informed on market trends and competitor activity
* Collaborate with operations and technical teams to ensure excellent service delivery
* Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities
* Aim to achieve sales and revenue targets while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction


What Were Looking For

* Proven success in business development or sales, ideally in CCTV/Security within construction
* Strong understanding of the construction industry's security needs
* Confident communicator with excellent negotiation and presentation skills
* Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
* Results-oriented and capable of working independently
