The Leadership Team at Valley Invicta Primary School at Holborough Lakes is seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational teaching assistant to join our dedicated and enthusiastic team. This post is ideally suited to someone who wants to support children in accessing the curriculum, working under the guidance and direction of the SENCO and the class teacher. The role involves using various techniques to motivate, engage, and encourage pupils to achieve their best outcomes. It includes a lunch duty, where you will participate in games and activities with pupils. This is a temporary, 23-hour per week position, term-time only (38 weeks per year), linked to HNF funding.
We have a strong, well-resourced curriculum and a fantastic learning environment with excellent outdoor spaces.
We are looking for a skilled practitioner who can:
* Exhibit the Holborough Lakes Core Values in professional behaviour.
* Be an excellent role model for teaching and learning.
* Support pupils to promote independence, inclusion, acceptance, and equality of access to learning.
* Lead the delivery of specific learning objectives and activities, adjusting them to meet individual or group needs, following support from the class teacher.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues to maximise children's development and uphold the school's ethos and vision.
As part of the Valley Invicta Academies Trust, we benefit from strong links with secondary schools, enabling collaborative projects and school visits. Teachers and TAs participate in joint CPD sessions, including moderation, and pupils have opportunities to engage in sporting and arts events.
