Role Information
The school is seeking a highly organised, proactive, and confident School Administrator to join its central administration team. This is a front-facing, fast-paced role supporting daily school operations, administration, communication, and record-keeping.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing the school’s main office function and providing first-line support to staff, students, parents, and external visitors
* Handling email and telephone enquiries promptly and professionally
* Maintaining accurate student records, admissions paperwork, attendance registers, and documentation on the school MIS
* Supporting administrative needs of departments, including reprographics, data entry, scheduling, and report generation
* Coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and supporting internal communications
* Assisting with school events such as parent evenings, open days, trips, and staff training
* Managing office supplies, stationery orders, equipment booking, and general administrative systems
* Maintaining high levels of confidentiality, safeguarding awareness, and professionalism at all times
This role is suited to someone who is efficient, personable, able to multitask, and confident handling a wide range of administrative tasks. You will act as a key point of communication within the school and contribute directly to the quality of the school’s daily operations.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a school office or similar administrative role
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Strong organisational ability and attention to detail
* Confident using MIS systems (SIMS/Arbor/Bromcom desirable)
* Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office applications
* Ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines
* High level of professionalism, discretion, and safeguarding awareness
* A positive, proactive mindset and commitment to supporting the wider school community
