Salary: Starts at GBP 29,109 rising by yearly increments to a maximum of GBP 33,264 per annum

Fleet Services are responsible for Force vehicles across Dorset, Devon and Cornwall. Our aim is to provide a safe and efficient vehicle fleet to meet the demands of operational policing. We are currently looking for three Fleet Services Vehicle Technicians to join our team at our workshops in Sowton (Exeter), Barnstaple (North Devon) and Plympton (Plymouth).
We offer a diverse working week working on our fleet from purchase to disposal, Light Commercial Vehicles to small cars and all in-between. Our service schedule interval is significantly reduced, ensuring we work on well-maintained vehicles.
Responsibilities
* Carry out motor vehicle servicing and repair to the required standards, with post-apprenticeship experience.
* Work across the fleet from purchase to disposal, covering Light Commercial Vehicles to cars.
* Ensure safety and quality in all work; prioritise safety over profit and work to high standards.
* Utilise specialist tools (outside of the technician’s personal tools) and have tools insured and replaced if necessary.
* Collaborate effectively with staff and officers at all levels and work as part of a team.
