Are you passionate about making a difference for young people with special educational needs? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a specialist base supporting students with Autism and Speech, Language & Communication Needs.
What You'll Do
* Support students in mainstream lessons and small-group interventions
* Help overcome barriers to learning and promote independence
* Facilitate social inclusion during unstructured parts of the school day
* Collaborate with specialist teachers, therapists, and school staff
* Create a calm, welcoming environment that supports wellbeing and learning
What You'll Bring
* GCSEs in Maths & English (A-C grades)
* Understanding of the impact of Autism and communication needs on learning
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Calm, flexible, and positive attitude
* Commitment to inclusion and safeguarding
Desirable
* Relevant experience supporting children with SEN
* Additional training related to special educational needs
