Join a dynamic team as a Full Stack Developer focused on scaling and enhancing a client portal product for a leading design and marketing company. This role offers the opportunity to work primarily remotely, with occasional in-person collaboration in Edinburgh. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing a Next.js portal using TypeScript, CSS, and Shadcn UI, ensuring robust authentication, storage, and database operations via Supabase. The position requires a proactive developer with strong production-level experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate closely with leadership to deliver high-quality solutions and contribute to the technical direction of the team.
Responsibilities
* Develop, maintain, and improve a Next.js-based client portal using TypeScript, CSS, and Shadcn UI
* Manage authentication, storage, and database operations in Supabase
* Optimize PostgreSQL structures and queries for performance and scalability
* Create responsive, user-friendly interfaces and ensure cross-device compatibility
* Deploy and monitor applications through Vercel, ensuring reliability and uptime
* Collaborate with leadership to shape technical processes and future development direction
* Contribute to team knowledge sharing and best practices
Skills And Requirements
* Proven experience in full stack development, particularly with Next.js and TypeScript
* Strong understanding of CSS and modern UI frameworks (e.g., Shadcn UI)
* Hands-on experience with Supabase, including authentication and storage management
* Proficiency in PostgreSQL, with the ability to optimize queries and database structures
* Familiarity with deployment and monitoring using Vercel or similar platforms
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, collaborative approach
* Ability to work remotely with occasional in-person meetings in Edinburgh
