Role Overview
As a Building & Community Coordinator, your focus will be on ensuring full compliance with health & safety regulations across our developments. Ideally, you will have experience in buildings, property, or facilities management, along with excellent face-to-face customer service skills to build strong relationships with residents.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Providing general customer service and being the first point of contact for owners and tenants.
2. Conducting regular building checks, including fire alarm testing, water flushing, and emergency lighting testing.
3. Facilitating external contractors.
4. Ensuring health & safety requirements are met.
5. Assisting with the move-in process to ensure a smooth start for new residents.
6. Organising events and activities to foster community spirit.
7. Handling emergencies promptly and calmly.
8. Building lasting relationships with homeowners and their families.
9. Collaborating with internal teams including Sales, Development, and Completions.
10. Managing move-in preparations, maintenance services, records, and event schedules.
11. Organising social events and developing local community knowledge.
Additional Information
This role requires working 25 hours per week on a rota, including some weekends. Flexibility is essential. You will be contractually based at the development nearest to your home and can claim mileage for travel between sites. Please note, there is no guaranteed onsite parking.
Candidate Profile
We seek an intuitive, personable individual with a flexible, warm approach who can build relationships with residents. You should be comfortable communicating with diverse groups, proactive, well-organized, and tech-savvy, with strong IT skills (knowledge of Google Workspace is a plus). Experience in facilities or property management, particularly with health & safety knowledge, is advantageous but not essential. This position is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
