Job Overview
You will be part of the Software Development team within the Digital, Data and Technology directorate and will have a range of technical responsibilities, working collaboratively within small multidisciplinary teams.

Main duties of the job
You should have significant and demonstrable experience in the following areas:
Essential
* Experience of a modern industry standard integrated development environment such as Visual Studio professional
* Experience of an industry standard DB management systems such SQL Service Management System
* Experience of ISS for web application deployment and management
* Experience of managing a backlog, such as breaking down requirements into work items and tasks
* Highly proficient in the use of C# programming language
* Proficient in the use of Transact SQL
* Proficient in the use of HTML5 / CSS / Bootstrap for front end development
* Proficient in the use JSON / XML
* Proficient in application development using .Net 8 (or greater)
* Proficient in application development using MVC / Web API
* Highly proficient in the use of SOLID & OOP
* Experience of class library development for plugin architecture
* Experience of using a modern authorization protocol such as OAuth 2.0
* Proficient in the use of HTTP
Desirable
* Knowledge of HL7 v2 and FHIR R4
* Experience of FHIR Firely API for accessing FHIR data
* Experience of using Microsoft Entra ID
* Experience of other aspects of our technology stack
