A unique pub situated on the Exeter canal, 15 mins walk from the quayside and now 5 minutes from Marsh Barton train station. The pub has one of the largest beer gardens in the south with over 1000 outdoor spaces. We host various events and functions that cater from 100 to our busiest one of the year hijacking 4000 people. With outdoor bars and BBQs, no week is ever the same at the double locks. In the winter was a lovely traditional pub with log fires and lots of dogs.
We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team in a fast-paced, busy pub kitchen. This is a part-time weekend role, ideal for someone who thrives under pressure and enjoys being part of a friendly team.
Hours: Flexible part-time
Key Responsibilities:
* Washing dishes, pots, and pans during busy service
* Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and hygienic
* Assisting chefs with basic food preparation
* Taking out rubbish and maintaining cleanliness standards
* Supporting the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations

* No experience required – full training provided

Kitchen Assistant;
We are looking for an existing Kitchen Assistant or an
individual looking for their next step to their hospitality career, who
considers themselves to have a passion to work within a reliable team that
delivers high quality standards. We need hard-working and dedicated people
behind the scenes to help our restaurants run smoothly and to ensure that they
are always clean and tidy. As the successful Kitchen Porter you will:
* Be an active hands-on person with a passion to
work hard as part of a team
* Have high standards and a great work ethic
* You will show willingness to learn new skills,
be an active team player with excellent communication skills
* Be working alongside your kitchen team and will
be able to demonstrate your creativity and ability by helping to deliver top
