Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable pupils? Do you have strong collaboration skills and a drive to ensure every child receives an education? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you. Join our dynamic team at Nottinghamshire County Council (NCC) and play a pivotal role in ensuring that all pupils with education health and care plans, children missing education, and excluded groups of children and young people access appropriate education. Your efforts will directly support the education and safeguarding of these vulnerable pupils.

Key Responsibilities

* Data Analysis and Reporting: Use your specialist knowledge to collate, analyse, and prepare contextual pupil-level data. Your insights will help senior officers make informed decisions to secure admissions and support for excluded pupils.
* Partnership Collaboration: Work closely with alternative education providers, schools, academies, and other key NCC services to ensure that our statutory obligations are met. Your collaboration will be crucial in supporting pupils educated other than at school.
* Strategy Implementation: Contribute significantly to the coordination and day-to-day implementation of NCC’s Children Missing Education (CME) Strategy. Your efforts will help mitigate the risk of high-level fines and ensure that our statutory duties are fulfilled.
* Safeguarding and Admissions: Be accountable for the accuracy of pupil admissions for students educated other than at school and access information. Your role will be vital in promoting safeguarding and ensuring that vulnerable pupils receive appropriate education.
* Commissioning and Monitoring: Take charge of commissioning interim education provision and monitoring a caseload of pupils not accessing mainstream education. Your dedication will ensure that these pupils are on a school roll or accessing suitable alternative education.

Why Join Us?

* Impactful Work: Your contributions will directly impact the lives of vulnerable pupils, ensuring they receive the education and support they need.
* Collaborative Environment: Work alongside a team of dedicated professionals who share your passion for education and safeguarding.
* Professional Growth: Access continuous professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest legislation and regulations governing school admissions, fair access, and more.
* Community Engagement: Be a part of a community-focused organisation that values your expertise and commitment to making a difference.

If you are ready to take on this rewarding challenge and make a lasting impact, we want to hear from you! Apply now and be a part of our mission to support and safeguard the education of vulnerable pupils in Nottinghamshire.
