Due to continued growth, a precision manufacturer of plastic mouldings is actively seeking an Injection Moulding Technician to join their team. With significant investment into the business over the past decade, the company continues to drive forward and has big plans for the next 5 years.
This role will play a key part in ensuring the successful operation of the moulding department in a health and safety driven environment.
***Up to £37,800, Monday-Friday, 4 x salary death in service benefit***
As an Injection Moulding Technician, your duties will include:
* Ensuring the shift runs smoothly, taking responsibility for direct reporting staff, machinery, and production targets.
* Performing tool and material changes, as well as setting machinery.
* Identifying and assisting with the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
* Troubleshooting and accurate diagnosis of process faults.
To be successful in the role of Injection Moulding Technician, the ideal candidate will:
* Be an experienced Plastic Injection Moulding Setter or Technician.
* Be able to carry out tool changes and condition set moulding machines.
* Have a good understanding of materials and their properties.
* Posses excellent trouble shooting skills, being able to fault find and rectify process faults.
