We are one of the world’s leading engineering and professional services firms, with a global reach and a local presence across the UK and Ireland. This role involves leading fire engineering projects and contributing to innovative architectural design while maintaining fire safety standards.
What you’ll do
* Lead and run design information, liaising with other WSP disciplines (Facades, Acoustics, Structures).
* Present designs to local authorities and the Fire Service, and advise the design team on changes to enhance building safety.
* Manage multiple projects from early feasibility to detailed design, including international work as needed.
* Support professional registration through IFE and other professional bodies.
Qualifications
* BSc (BEng) or MSc (MEng) in Fire, Structural, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
* Extensive experience within the fire engineering consulting industry.
* This role can be based from any of our UK major offices.
