Dog Warden - Part-Time (4 Hours Daily, Monday to Friday, 1:00-5:00 PM) We are seeking a dedicated Dog Warden on a part-time basis. The role involves: Collection and Transport of Stray Dogs : Safely collecting stray dogs from members of the public and transporting them to designated in-district kennels within hours of 1-5pm and using a council-provided transit van. A valid driving licence suitable for driving this vehicle is essential. Record Keeping: Completing all necessary paperwork and maintaining accurate records of stray dog incidents. Additional Duties : Monitoring and responding to dog fouling complaints. Assisting with cases involving dangerous dogs (training will be provided). Supporting investigations into noise disturbances. Assisting the Animal Welfare Officer with inspections and other related tasks. Training will be provided in dog handling and relevant procedures.
