£17,857.00 (£25,000 FTE)
Main aims of the post:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Support Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth functioning of business processes. This role involves handling a wide range of administrative tasks, supporting internal teams, and contributing to efficient office operations. The post also involves assisting in the day-to-day running of Crossroads Care Surrey's processes in line with the aims, objectives, policies, and standards of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Payroll: Weekly review, reconciliation, and approval of timesheets
* Sales Ledger: Production of monthly invoices and credit notes for paying clients; processing of sales receipts; monitor and chase outstanding debts
* HR: Assist in onboarding new staff; support with amendments to staff sickness and absence records; review sickness records and communicate with staff regarding their allowances; HR admin tasks; co-ordinate training sessions
* Operational: Reconciliation of agency hours to purchase ledger invoices
* General: Monitor and order office supplies; comply with Health & Safety at Work Regulations; promote equality and diversity; perform any other duties as required
Experience and Skills:
* Payroll experience
* Sales ledger experience
* Debt collection experience
* Data Protection / Confidentiality
* Experience with Salesforce and voluntary organisations
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Intermediate Microsoft Excel & Word skills
* Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Knowledge:
* Knowledge of and commitment to equal opportunities
