Accounts Payable – Temporary Contract (1–2 Months)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join a well-established organisation on a temporary basis for 1–2 months. This role is ideal for someone who can hit the ground running and support a busy Finance team during a key period.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the Accounts Payable function, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities
* Running the Purchase Ledger in line with company policy
* Processing and controlling supplier invoices
* Ensuring suppliers are paid within agreed timeframes
* Accurate PO and invoice matching, coding and authorisation
* Managing the creditors ledger, clearing credits and unallocated cash
* Supporting month-end timelines
* Assisting across the wider Finance team where required
About You
* AAT qualified or qualified by experience
* Proven Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger experience
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
* Confident communicator with a proactive approach
* Highly organised and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
* Strong IT skills and adaptable to new systems

* Paying up to £35,000 (pro rata)
