Salary: £35,599–£40,067 FTE (£29,220–£33,187 actual).

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Operational Behaviour Manager to join our team at the Hastings campus from September 2026. The role is key to leading and coordinating behaviour support across the school. You will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to oversee the daily deployment of behaviour support staff, manage cover arrangements, and ensure a consistent and high‑quality approach to behaviour management in line with school policies.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate behaviour support across the school.
* Supervise and manage a team of Behaviour Mentors.
* Coordinate student routines, including arrivals, departures and detentions.
* Implement targeted interventions to support pupils disengaged from learning.
* Maintain a calm, structured and supportive learning environment.
* Remove barriers that impact student progress.
* Provide consistent support to staff and learners, liaising with the Senior Leadership Team.
Qualifications & Experience
* Significant experience in school behaviour management.
* Strong managerial and team‑leadership skills.
* Ability to develop and implement behaviour policies and strategies.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
