The Role
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client payrolls, ensuring all processes are completed accurately and in line with current UK legislation.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing end‑to‑end payroll for multiple clients using Sage
* Processing weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls
* Submitting RTI to HMRC
* Administering auto‑enrolment pensions
* Handling client payroll queries and providing support
* Ensuring compliance with current payroll legislation
About You
* Proven payroll experience, ideally within an accountancy practice or bureau
* Strong knowledge of UK payroll and HMRC requirements
* Experience with payroll systems such as Sage, BrightPay, or similar
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Strong communication skills and client‑focused approach
