About the Role
A tier 1 Professional services client are looking for a Senior Pensions Data Technician to join a growing Scheme Events team, where you’ll lead on complex data projects, support cyclical activities, and ensure scheme events are delivered to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of assigned projects and scheme events.
* Collaborate with Scheme Events Leads and Managers to meet project timelines and quality standards.
* Review and support the work of Pensions Data Technicians.
* Build relationships with internal teams and clients.
* Continuously improve systems, processes, and service delivery.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality frameworks.
* Perform bulk data analysis, calculations, and reporting using Excel and internal systems.
* Create audit trails and test communications and calculations.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Strong experience with Defined Benefit (DB) pension schemes.
* Technical pensions calculations and bulk data analysis.
* Proficiency in Excel: filters, pivot tables, lookups, IF/nested IF statements, date calculations, data validation, and importing files.
* Experience with pension administration systems.
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Project management skills.
* A-level Maths or equivalent experience in complex data analysis.
Desirable:
* PMI qualifications.
