Builder Markit is growing rapidly, and we're looking for commercially aware Market Research Analysts to help us better understand the construction and trade industry.
Role Description
You'll be helping, hand-in-hand, the company understand what is needed in todays market.
At Builder Markit, we're not here to jump onto the scene and cause a scare, our ultimate goal is to go direct to our sources, to see what's really needed.
This role is focused purely on insight and intelligence:
• Research what builders and trade businesses genuinely need from marketing
• Identify what companies are prepared to invest in growth and branding
• Gather real opinions on industry trends, advertising, and positioning
• Help shape future services based on accurate market understanding
You won't be selling - you'll be helping us build a smarter, more relevant, all-round solution for our customers, by understanding the market in which they work in properly.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Market Analysis and Market Research to evaluate data and provide actionable insights.
Strong Analytical Skills for data assessment, trend identification, and problem-solving.
Effective Communication skills to present findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
Expertise in conducting thorough Research to support strategic decision-making and uncover market opportunities.
Ability to work independently and meet project timelines.
Experience in Marketing, Business, Economics, or related field; Master's degree is a plus, but not required.
Experience in quantitative and qualitative research methods; familiarity with industry-standard tools is an advantage.
You Must Have
Access to mobile use at all times, for communication ( a work mobile may be provided)
ZOOM and Microsoft Teams access (and Webcam)
Good, reliable Internet
Competent knowledge in both Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Docs & Google Sheets
