Regional Cooling Service Expert (Data Center Cooling)
Our team is seeking a Regional Cooling Service Representative (Data Center Cooling) responsible for providing professional on-site services for cooling products produced by Schneider Electric, including commissioning, technical analysis, and customer issue resolution. The role focuses on complex projects involving troubleshooting and support for Cooling Equipment & Systems (air cooling, chillers, CRAC/CRAH units).
Location & Commitments: Full-time, in Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Italy, Spain. Remote work possible. International travel (min 70%), mainly within Europe. EU passport required.
Responsibilities:
* Perform startup & commissioning of cooling equipment.
* Evaluate installation quality and system conditions.
* Adjust units onsite for optimal performance.
* Identify failure causes (quality, software, operation).
* Collaborate with other service engineers & partners.
* Document and handle defective parts.
* Train customers on equipment operation.
* Perform preventive & corrective maintenance.
Requirements:
* Solid understanding of HVAC principles, especially cooling, with basic electrical knowledge.
* Ability to work independently with general guidance.
* Compliance with safety policies.
* Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
* Willingness to travel extensively (70%+).
* University degree in Mechanical or Electrotechnical fields.
* At least 5 years experience in commissioning or field repair of HVAC/cooling equipment.
* Experience with cooling solutions, HVAC, generators, fire systems is advantageous.
* Fluent English (B2+ level).
* Reliability, customer focus, teamwork, leadership skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and other software tools.
