Main purpose of job
This is a full‑time, in‑office role for a VP - Marketing (Investments) based in London, UK. The VP - Marketing will work with the CMO to drive the go‑to‑market strategy, product positioning, and client engagement for our investment solutions, using advanced data and language technologies to enhance insight generation and content creation. You’ll collaborate closely with asset management, distribution, and our Partner teams to craft and continuously refine compelling, data‑informed product narratives - supported by intelligent tooling and automation - that resonate with global institutional and retail audiences.
Main responsibilities
* Develop and execute insight‑led product marketing strategies to support fund launches, re‑positionings, and lifecycle management, drawing on analytics and content technologies to sharpen targeting and impact.
* Create high‑impact product messaging, investment stories, and sales collateral that differentiate our offerings in the market, using modern language tools to accelerate ideation and first‑draft creation while maintaining strict quality and compliance standards.
* Partner with investment teams to translate complex investment concepts into clear, client‑centric content, supported by intelligent summarisation of research, performance data, and market commentary.
* Conduct market research to identify competitive trends, investor needs, and product opportunities, leveraging data‑driven techniques to scan broader information sets and uncover emerging themes.
* Deliver materials such as fund and manager updates, pitchbooks, RFP responses, commentaries and thought leadership pieces, making use of automated and semi‑automated workflows where appropriate to streamline production and versioning.
* Collaborate with the campaign marketing team to develop marketing campaigns and content strategies that make effective use of personalisation, testing, and optimisation capabilities.
* Ensure that all marketing materials are in line with compliance and regulatory guidelines.
Skills and experience
* 5+ years’ experience in product marketing or investment marketing within asset management or financial services.
* Master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or another relevant analytical field.
* Strong professional experience in Equity, Fixed Income, and Alternative products.
* Strong understanding of investment products (e.g., mutual funds, ETFs, segregated mandates).
* Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts.
* Ability to confidently use advanced content and language technologies (including generative models) to research, draft, and refine high‑quality investment materials, turning complex market and product information into clear, compliant narratives tailored to different client audiences.
* Proven track record in managing cross‑functional projects and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
* A self‑starter with the ability to operate effectively in an entrepreneurial, team‑orientated environment and take proactive action to identify and resolve problems and exploit opportunities.
* Strong analytical skills and data‑driven thinking as well as the ability to think creatively in identifying commercial and marketing angles to produce client‑centric content.
* Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (with exceptional PowerPoint skills), Morningstar Direct, FactSet, Bloomberg, etc.
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; fluent in English.
* Ability to communicate effectively in a business context in French, Italian, German, or Spanish.
* Proficiency in CRM (SalesForce), marketing automation, and analytics tools preferred.
* Experience designing and managing AI‑assisted content workflows ensuring accuracy, consistency with investment views, and close collaboration with investment and marketing teams.
