Education/Experience:
* Proven experience as a Head of Product, Senior Product Manager, or equivalent in enterprise software.
* Mandatory: Experience in legal IT / law firm-focused software, with a deep understanding of law firm operations, compliance, and information governance.

The Role
We are seeking a Head of Product to join our leadership team and take ownership of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
This is a hands-on leadership role — not just about defining strategy, but also about executing it day-to-day. You'll be expected to roll up your sleeves, establish product processes, and drive delivery while engaging directly with clients and colleagues. Acting as the bridge between the market and the business, you'll spend time with law firm clients and prospects to understand their challenges, and work closely with our leadership peers — including the Head of Development, Head of Professional Services, and Head of Support — to translate those needs into a product roadmap that delivers measurable value.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
Define and own the product vision and strategy and translate them into actionable roadmaps that drive delivery.
Backlog
Build, manage, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring priorities are clear and well-documented.
Client Engagement
Engage directly with clients and prospects to gather insights, validate ideas, and shape immediate priorities.
Internal Partnerships & Collaboration
Partner with the Head of Development to ensure delivery aligns with client needs, market priorities, and product goals.
Collaborate closely with Professional Services and Support to incorporate client feedback and ensure a seamless product experience.
Specifications
Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and specifications for the development team.
Success Tracking
Define and track KPIs and success metrics for product adoption and performance.
Requirements Gathering
Lead product discovery and market research, converting insights into concrete requirements.
Client First Approach
Champion a client-first, delivery-focused mindset across the business.
Product Management Process
Establish and refine product management processes, ensuring LegalRM matures from an entrepreneurial to a structured, scalable approach.
Role Balance
Balance strategic leadership with hands-on contribution, stepping into detailed product or technical work when required to support the team and ensure successful delivery.
Required Skills
1. Strong background in product lifecycle management and agile methodologies.
2. Demonstrated ability to work directly with clients and prospects, gathering insights and translating them into product strategy.
3. Track record of execution: backlog ownership, writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and delivering successful releases.
4. Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
5. Data-driven decision maker, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
