Finance Assistant, Wakefield, £30k Location : Wakefield, West Yorkshire Salary : £30,000 per annum Your New Company You will be working for a unique type of company, who work alongside other businesses to establish a fair market valuation, based on company financial data over a period of time and market data. They use this valuation to take the business to prospective buyers and establish a successful sale. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage invoices, payments, and reconciliations. Bank Reconciliations: Ensure financial records are accurate and complete. Budgeting: Support the budgeting process by providing necessary financial data. Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the finance team. Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Data Entry: Maintain accurate financial records and databases. Skills and Qualifications: Education: A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Experience: Previous experience in a finance assistant role is preferred. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
