Job Title: Trainee Quantity Surveyor Paying: £25,000 - £35,000 Location:Tamworth Duration: Permanent We are seeking a motivated and detail focused Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join the team of a well established Construction business in Tamworth. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates with a relevant degree (e.g. Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering) to develop their skills in the field of quantity surveying. You will work alongside the Managing Director, gaining practical experience and insight into cost management, contract administration and project delivery within the construction industry. Key Skills/Experience Required: Cost Estimation: Assist in preparing and reviewing cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Tendering: Support in the preparation of tender documents and bid analysis Contract Administration: Aid in the administration of contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed terms and conditions Site Visits: Attend site visits to monitor project progress and costs, and to assess the impact of any changes Cost Reporting: Help prepare regular cost reports, including budget updates and cost forecasting Procurement: Assist in the procurement process, including liaising with suppliers and subcontractors for cost-effective solutions Measurement and Valuation: Support the measurement of works on site and assist in valuing work completed by contractors Education: A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field.
