About the Role
Are you an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer looking for a new challenge in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? EQUANS is seeking a Mobile A/C Engineer to join our MTS South team, supporting a variety of critical sites across the South of England.

Key Responsibilities
1. Fault-finding and repair of air conditioning systems, refrigeration units, chiller plants, and associated controls
2. Maintain and update F-Gas logbooks, ensuring accurate records of refrigerant use and leak testing
3. Carry out installation, pressure testing, vacuum dehydration, and commissioning of A/C systems
4. Oversee and coordinate subcontractor works on site
5. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including completion of all required documentation
6. Complete real-time job updates using CAFM systems via PDA/tablet
7. Diagnose system defects, prepare quotations, and liaise with contract managers and clients
8. Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota to provide emergency support when needed
9. Work flexibly and professionally, maintaining a high standard of presentation and communication on client sites
What Were Looking For
Qualifications and Experience:
10. Recognised apprenticeship (EITB, CITB) or equivalent technical qualifications
11. Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
12. C&G -11 F-Gas Category 1 qualification (ODS regulations)
13. Experience working with chillers, cold rooms, VRV/VRF systems, AHUs, cooling towers, and BMS systems
14. Comfortable reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical schematics
15. L8 Awareness (Legionella)
16. Health & Safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH/IOSH) is advantageous
17. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
18. Full UK driving licence required
